PT Racerz Safety Rating
Everyone starts unclassified. The first race with valid safety data assigns level D and the calculated score. A clean race can score 100; higher levels require consistency over several races.
PTSR starts with upcoming races, using race files validated by PT Racerz. Previous results do not count. A race without sufficient measurement is not treated as clean.
| Level | Score for promotion | Retention threshold |
|---|---|---|
| D · Initial | First valid race | — |
| C · Intermediate | ≥ 60 | 50 |
| B · Advanced | ≥ 75 | 65 |
| A · Excellence | ≥ 90 | 80 |
For each promotion: reach the next level's score, complete 5 measured races and 2000 corners since entering your current level. You move up one level at a time and the counters reset. Reaching A takes at least 15 races.
You move down one level after 3 consecutive measured races below the retention threshold. Recovering to the threshold resets the sequence. Your score is provisional until you total 5 races and 2000 corners, independently of your level.
PTSR = 100 × exp(−20 × incident points / corners)
We use the most recent measured races until at least 2000 corners are included. The boundary race is included in full. Until enough data is available, we use what has been measured.
Incident points and corners must be supported by race data. Finishing position, wins and an absence of reports do not establish that a race was clean.
Inactivity and races without measurements do not change your level. PTSR does not automatically restrict registration.
